Ok so I have a 2015 Hyundai Elantra with an AVital 4103LX and a DBALL2 bypass interface module installed.
It was installed as per suggested method 1, using D2D.
When I use the Avital to unlock my elantra if the headlights are on they cut out like someone turned them off then back on. Yes this happens even with the parking light wire disconnected. This doesnt happen on lock or trunk release only on unlock.
I also observed that the word fuse on plashes quick on the trip computer only for like a nano second, this is the same message that would be on constant if you turn the fuse panel off.
Im assuming this is proper behavior due to the DBALL2 module communicating to the canbus through the fuse panel.
However I would like to know if this is normal or if I have something wrong.
I have gone over my wiring multiple times and I believe its all good.
Can someone confirm if this sounds wrong or right please?
Thanks!
