i am installing a remote start on my 2014 wrangler. i am using a crimestopper rs4g5 remote start. with a fortin bypass.
on the crimestopper module it self, there are connections for 12v,ignition, starter, accessory . all need to be connected to the vehicle. the part that is confusing me is the wiring diagram It says that the accessory wire is the same as the starter wire . so does that mean i would connect both starter and accessory wire together ??
any help is appreciated

in your vehicle you will not be connecting start output and accessory output from r/s to vehicle. The bypass should be handling the "mux" output. you didn't mention which bypass you had. usually for your peticular vehicle, the bypass guide/install is pretty much all you need with the exception of 12v constant, ground, and parking lights.

I got the fortin eve all evo-chrt5 that came with the t harness so i wouldn't have to connect as many wires, basically plug and play. i also got the crime stopper because i wouldn't be able to use the fortin by itself because i have a manual transmission. now I'm just unsure about the connections for the crimestopper. i know that with using the bypass i will not need any of the door connections etc .. but i thought i still had to connect the actual module wires to 12v, ignition, starter, accessory and obv ground. after that i will tackle the clutch by pass ..

The CrimeStopper system will still need 12V constant, Ignition and ground. Then what ever connections you will need to complete the manual transmission bypass.
