Hey guys
I just installed a Nordic 5070TW-FM (same as autostart AS-6870tw-fm I believe) in a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado. Everything works on the 1way remote but I cant seem to get the 2-way remote to turn on. Everything is brand new but a few years old (2011-2012), I bought it from a friend who had it laying around so no more warranty.
I plugged it in to charge for a few hours but nothing comes on.
Here is a link to the remote start

And this is what the remote looks like

Would any autostart 2way remote work with it? Or I have to find the same exact one.

My thoughts are the battery will no longer take a charge. I have had a couple of Viper LCD remotes that would no longer take a charge.

Just seems weird it's all new never been charged before. Is there anyway to service the battery? Are the 2way key fobs model specific?

Ordered a new battery from viperremotebattery.com for $14. Hopefully it fixes my issue.
