5902 Install door unlocking

Hello, I am installing a Clifford 5902 with twin 535t window units and DBall2 into a 2005 Nissan Frontier. Everything works fine, except when I vent the Windows after arming, the dome lights come on for 15-30 seconds(estimate, did not time them) but luckily it doesn't trigger the alarm. Also, when venting the Windows (for a 2nd time) after arming the alarm, all the doors unlock.

Nevermind, I figured it out. I shouldn't have hooked up the OEM alarm arm and OEM alarm disarm wires.

What did you hook them up to so as to help the next person that has this issue?

Hello lurch, I did connect the power lock and power unlock wires. I also connected the "OEM alarm arm output" to the "factory alarm arm" wire at the BCM. I also connected the "OEM alarm disarm output" to the "factory alarm disarm" wire at the BCM. I disconnected the two wires and the alarm works perfectly now. I believe Nissan has the factory alarm arms (when the doors lock) and the factory alarm disarms (when the doors unlock). Hope this helps someone.
