Hi all I have a question. I installed an avital 4103xl in my 2010 sonata. Everything works except when the car is remote started I cannot open the car doors. The lock and unlock works with the avital remote when the car is not running but if I remote start it, the key fob will not open the doors. It seems like a Hyundai thing that blocks the remote from working with the car running. Is there anyway to pulse the door trigger or disable the factory system so the door lock will work with the engine running? Thanks for any insight

You need to pulse the Lock Detection wire with unlock.

mark thanks for the reply. I looked at the wiring for my car in this forum and it doesn't how a lock detection wire. The only thing that shows is an alarm disarm wire in two places. Will this work to disarm the alarm momentarily to get the locks to work?

Orange is your disarm. brown is lock detection (shows ground in the unlocked position) diode isolate and pulse with unlock. Do disarm also.   You may need to select double pulse unlock also, but it'll work, I do it all the time.
