Idatalink for 2014 ram 1500

Hey guys quick question, is this diagram showing to hook up only one 12v wire from the remote start or do I need to hook both heavy gage wires to the ignition node connector?

Not familiar with Ram wiring nor do I know what kind of remote start controller you have but I'll do my best. If I understand your question correctly, your controller has (2) 12v input wires. If the 12v/Ignition/Starter wires (especially ign./start) in the truck are all relatively small (wires that carry a signal, not wires that do real work), hooking both 12v inputs on the controller to the single 12v wire at the ignition node connector should be not be a problem. The (likely) reason the controller has two 12v inputs is to split the acc/start and ign/ign2 circuits into separate inputs for vehicles with high-current wiring (20A or 30A ACC/IGN/START circuits; 12 or 14AWG wire). So, if for example your start and ignition wires are heavy (14AWG or more) and the 12v wire at the ignition node connector is small (as in, it only powers a few delicate things), you'll want to connect both 12v inputs on the controller to a more substantial source of constant 12v. In either case, it is (likely) critical that ALL 12v inputs on the controller are hooked up to sufficient 12v constant wires.
