Hello everyone! I have searched and searched with out any answers. So I'm hoping this will help.
I have installed a Soundstream ARS.2 Into the 07 matrix. I have everything working and connected accept one thing. (-) door pin and (-) dome light supervision wires.
On all the records they say that the wires are both located "@interior light switch on dash" (I only have a dimmer for gauges located next to the mirror switch)
The door trigger to be red/white
the dome to be red/black. (relay needed)
I have looked and not seen the red/black wire. I see a red/white wire, but I'm pretty sure it isn't the one (because in the car it is attached to the mirror harness)( I tested the voltage and it did not move when the door trigger was pressed or released.) I have tapped into the door pin with the green (-) door wire from the brain but nothing happened. I'm not sure what it all is supposed to do. I thought and would like if someone opened the door(s) the alarm would sound if the shock sensor didn't catch any movement.
I have a relay part #775. I successfully attached it to the trunk release, but cannot figure out the dome light situation or where the wires are.
anything can help thank you!

Directed has dome as negative red/yellow at drivers side a pillar.
For door trigger they have negative red/white (driver door only); red (all doors) Drivers kick panel in harness that heads to rear of vehicle.

Thank you very much! I will try that this weekend! I will need relay still? How to correctly wire it?
Would it be best to attach door triggers or dome? Or does it matter since they technically do the same thing? (Only have one negative line) suppose the door triggers would be easiest?
Thanks again!!

Is the domelight supervision wire positive coming out of your alarm? If so then yes you will need a relay.

I have a negative and positive door trigger out of the 13 pin from the brain. There is no wire specific to dome light. However I thought they pretty much played the same operation

You can also find the door pin trigger in 3 way plug at the BCM, use the Soundstream NEG trigger wire.
BTW if your domelight comes on when you turn the ignition off you don't need to worry about domelight supervision.
Tach will be art pin 9 of your OBD (diagnostic socket).

If I have the light set to on it will stay on. If it's set to door, it will not turn on until I open the door.

Set it to door with the engine running and doors closed then turn off the ignition.
If the light turns on dome supervision isn't needed.
I already know the answer but let's see.

Your answer is correct. It stays off until I open the doors
Doesn't the door trigger and dome light have to be wired together for the alarm to sound?
