Purchased a USB hardwire kit on amazon. It comes with a mini fuse tap with a 10A fuse molded into the connector.
However.. 1 side of this fuse must connect to the device meaning the other side of the fuse needs to be connected to power. If installed backwards the fuse will not protect the hardwire kit.
Am I looking at this the right way?
Anybody encounter this, and can you provide some clarity?

just use a multi meter, pull the fuse out and see which side has power and which one doesn't. Put the wire side on the the side that doesn't so if you pop the fuse it protects the item on the other side
33 years as a installer now just a retired old guy. Favorite thing to install/topic are remote starts/car alarms. Stop using test lights!!!
