As I'm learning the hard way, don't bother trying to get an XDR remote to work with an older non DS4/DS4+ brain

I believe it's forward compatible, but not back

I have both the 5904/5906 brains and I wanted to upgrade to the 2 way LED remote 7856V according to this post it should work but after I change the antenna to the 6826T then my 7944v/79445 will no longer work can anyone confirm?
