2001 Sunfire Passlock 2 Bypass

Hey... I've got lock and unlock working fine with relays. I also have the trunk release hooked to another relay and it triggers when I ground the other terminal with my power probe. All good. Problem: when I press the "ready remote" button or auxiliary made for opening the trunk or silent mode, it just does silent mode and I can't get it to ground out the trunk release?

Fixed it, my crimped on connector for the relay wasn't making good contact with the wire. All is good!! Everything works perfectly and I got the valet button and on/off switch mounted. Also, car is back together and good to drive! Thanks to all that helped

Can't help you there. I have no sources of info that provide the Rear Defrost wire. Perhaps someone with DirectWire can help with that.Soldering is fun!

Getting the R/S system to turn on the vehicles Headlights when remote started when dark can be a bit involved. That vehicle does not have that feature so the ambient light sensor would have to be added after-market. Here is the info on the vehicle wire : Headlights    Dark BLUE (-)    AT HEADLIGHT SWITCH You do have the R/S controlling the Parking Lights during remote start engine run time and door / trunk operation.Soldering is fun!
