I have a 2017 silverado and have done some research so i do know which wire i need to tap into for my dome lights but i want to run four led rock lights on my running boards that fade in and also fade out with my dome lights. I will be using four of these rock lights Click Here Wouldn't i need a relay controlled by my dome lights because of the amps they will pull? If so how could i wire it for it to fade? This maybe a dumb question. Thanks in advance

So, you only want the running board lights to be on when the dome light is on and you want them to fade out in-synch with the dome lights?
If so, and although you didn't specify which model you are going to use, you should be ok to connect directly to the dome light feed wire.
The current draw should be less than 2 amps.

I think I’m going to go with the white high output model. Would I be ok with the original fuse that is on the dome lights or do I need to change somthing?

Original fuse should be fine. Never increase the size of the fuse.
