Should be able to use any transponder bypass that is compatible with Fords. There should be a blue/black in the 'B' harness that is
labeled active output...ground while running. It will have a ground signal when the remote start is operated. Hope this helps.

I got a Fortin EVO-Key, because it's inexpensive and supports my vehicle, now my problem is how do I get it to interface with the Start module
The install instructions for the manual show me plugging into a 4 pin header connector on the module with the Ford bypass
None of the connectors on this Fortin seem to fit?
I can install the Fortin, and I can install the Remote start, I just don't know how they'll talk to each other

You need to make the connections per 1A in the installation guide.
Getting a 8L3Z-19G365-BA on eBay would probably have been simpler though.

I see
I didn't know I had to do that cutting, but I did eventually figure it all out
I tried a 8L3Z, it doesn't clear the black key holder bezel thingy clipped to the barrel
It's designed for flat metal key surrounds
Thanks for all the help

In order to use the 8L3Z you need to pop out the ingition cylinder put on the ring then reinstall the cylinder.
