I am installing a AVITAL 3100LX on a 2001 Dodge Ram that has an aftermarket central locking kit installed. It has a master lock motor on the Dr. side, and I need Neg. pulse to lock / unlock It looked to be easy...
(From the installation Guide):
Door Lock, 3-Pin Connector (H2)
1 GREEN (-) Lock, (+) unlock output
2 OPEN except if using 451M
3 BLUE (+) Lock, (-) unlock output
I thought a diode on each of the lock control wires (per attached image) should give neg. pulse to each wire... but I must be missing something because that didn't work.
Any suggestions?

Use a meter to verify it grounds when you press the switch to lock or unlock. If it does, eliminate the diodes.

Is that the actual layout of the central locking kit? A separated actuator, controller, switch setup? What aftermarket central locking kit is it?

Unbranded but identical to Lanbo. Here is the full layout (I'm tying into the white and brown leads (5 &6)) Aftermarket Door Lock -- posted image.

Do pin 5 and 6 work as you expect? Ground 5 or 6 and the locks lock or unlock? If so and they don't work directly connected to the avital then a 451m or a pair of relays are going to be needed as the Avital output can only handle 500mA of current.

OK, thanks for the help... I'll order a module...
ETA: It looks like I'll have to use a set of relays, a 451m will give me Pos. pulses...

A 451m can be configured a variety of ways with pos or neg output

Pretty sure you do not need a module. It looks like that keyless entry module is designed to use in conjunction with your alarm.
