Hi Forum,

I have a non-OBD vehicle which has a universal door lock and viper alarm system. I would like to have auto lock based on speed. The instrument set has been upgraded to the Dakota digital VHX series which has a Speed out PPM (2k or 4k PPM) which I am guessing can be used as speed data (in lieu of OBD) and via a 'module' can trigger door locks.

I am hoping for an off the shelf solution - et. as sandwich module to fit ( last resort would be an arduino) but trying to avoid this if at all.
