im wanting to add a remote start to our JD gator. it has a/c and heat. we want to be able to get it fired up and the snow/ice melted off of it so we can drive it.
the start is a little wierd. you have to have your foot on the brake pedal to start it.
is there a remote start i could use that puts out something before it cranks?
almost like a glow plug start maybe? but would that trigger the remote start to turn off if it sees the brake input wire?

You could try using a starter output going to the output of the brake switch. That way the brakes would only be applied during cranking. You may need to isolate it from the starter with a relay
