door trigger/700IQ to new RS3 - Last Post -- posted image.
Here is my question :
In the car now, there is a 700IQ(pic above, top diagram) the gray wire going to a negative door trigger/dome light.
Disarm and the dome light goes on for thirty seconds and then turns off-I can hear the relay. Armed-when you open the door of course, the door trigger/dome light turns on sending a signal/tripping a zone.
Now that I am installing the RS3, I know that I am going to be using the GREEN/ negative door trigger input. Am I going to need any extra relays, or diodes for the domelight supervision light wire on the RS3? Tie them all in one(door trigger and domelight supervision?
Please HELP. Thank you in advance for your time.

Since it's a DEI product now. yes you have to use a relay set it up to throw ground.
Door side on 30 and ground on 87-or vise versa. On the RS3 use the BLACK/ white wire in the Primary harness on 86 and +12 volts fused on 85.
