Good afternoon. I am working on installing a remote start in my Expedition. I am installing a Avital 5305L with DB3. I looked for the wiring information under vehicle info but I could not find anything for this year. Yes I know there is a mod to use the factory remote start but I want to use a standalone system as I already had this one. Another thing is I would like to use the factory installed hood pin switch, does anyone know what the wiring colors are for this ? Any assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

This is awesome information. Thank you for this. I am still wondering if anyone has the wiring info for the factory hood switch that is next to the coolant reservoir. I want to hook my hood pin switch wire up to this since it is already in a good spot on the hood and it will help with a cleaner install.

I have installed alarms and remote starts in the past but I have never installed a bypass unit like the DB3. What all do I have to wire up from it to the car or the alarm remote start module? I know there is a data cable that goes between the DB3 and the Avital 5305 module.
