Hi there

I'm installing a remote start in an Acura RSX 2003 automatic

I am wondering if I'll need a relay to activate the factory locks, or if I can just tie the RS lock/unlock wires directly into the factory unlock wires. The factory wires just need a ground to activate. I am aware that a relay is needed for aftermarket actuators but am uncertain about factory components.

If the alarm has - output for the lock and unlock, simply connect directly to the vehicle wires.
