That's good news. On the horn issue, verify that the Viper BROWN (-) 200mA HORN OUTPUT wire is connected to the trucks (-) Horn wire. Then verify that the Viper programming is set correctly. Menu 1, Feature 1 to Option 2 or 3. The Viper will beep the horn with all commands, not just the second lock command. The Viper doesn't have any programming options for when the horn beeps like other R/S systems.

YES, Brown wire does exactly as you describe, just not a fan of unlock honks

Most Compustar systems allow horn confirmation options. Here are the options for a Compustar CM900 controller.
3-08 Horn Output      On Double Lock Only      On Lock and Unlock      On Lock, Unlock, and Start     On Double Lock and Start
Similar options on their other units. The CS925-s is very comparable to the Viper 4105V and uses the CM900-s controller.

I think I’m just being picky. My only reason for picking the 4105v was because I like the style of the older 474V remotes which are compatible and very similar looking to original GM fobs.

Kreg, Thanks for all your help!
After a bunch of trial and error. 4105v was a no go for what I wanted. Bypass modules: I had ordered the GMDLBP & DLPKGM (I had already ordered prior to your advice to go with the DLPKGM). With the 4105v both gave same result; with my application the GMDLBP only lacking in RAP shutdown feature which other then testing I doubt I will ever remote shutdown that it would matter. I ordered viper 4606V on ebay (Refurbished for $50) due to seeing a video online with everything working how I wanted. I wired up the 4606v with the GMDLBP as it was not already wired up to a R/S. 4606V/GMDLBP combo resulted in a two chirp when locked/no unlock. BUT.. with door ajar one chirp lock. No programming/ wiring combination I found was able to reverse this. And I'm sure my neighbors were getting tired of all the honking. 4606V/DLPKGM worked exactly how I wanted. I ended up Wiring D2D as R/S was already in place and only required running DATA & IGN wire. TACH is hardwired from cluster to R/S (DURAMAX).
Just thought id share this bit of info and I'm happy with the the end result.
