Hi. I'm new here but I've been reading these posts forever.
To preface this, I have looked at diagrams and installs for the last few days - probably a total of 20 hours. :-/
I want to connect my AUX button on my car alarm to drive a window motor. Currently the window is controlled by a momentary switch. I toggle it DOWN and hold for the window to open and I toggle it UP and hold it for the window to close.
I am currently trying to figure out how to wire this configuration. I'm using the Avitel 3100L and trying to decide which module to use. I have easy access to the relay that the switch runs. (In fact I think the toggle switch IS the relay??) I'm WAY better with mechanics than I am electrical and I am pretty confused, at the moment.
I know I use the orange wire from the alarm as the aux trigger - but I am a little confused if I have to hook any of the other wires to the alarm. I sort of understand the motor wiring from the module. If any one could help, I would be super grateful.
How the 529t will be wired -
