Hoping someone here can point me in a direction...
I picked up an 05 Silverado 2500hd and it has a Carbine Security system in it that works fine. However, the main remote for it,I believe it is a CARF-LCD45 (at least that's the only reference I can find online) is basically destroyed. I would like to pick up a replacement. How can I confirm which remote to get? i am not sure which Carbine system is in the truck? How do I go about programming a new remote in the event I can locate and purchase one?

Magnadyne Security
If it's a basic security system then it may be a PL-50, PL-60, or PL-61C system

If it's something a little nicer then it may be something like the Plus 4800, Plus 4900, or Plus 5000

They had/have a few other systems, but I don't have any notes on them

Audiokid1....thanks for this apologies for the delay in replying. This helped alot....the button I have for programming looks like whats pictured under the Plus 4800, Plus 4900, or Plus 5000....working with the Magnadyne folks.
