Need owners manual for a "Alpine 7802" model   Cd player for my truck and anybody know why my display on the faceplate does not  light up.

i don't have an owners manual, but if you have specific questions on the deck, i can answer them for you.

the backlight on your display is out, that has to be fixed by an alpine dealer.

with the prices of new decks droppin', it may not be worth fixing.  call around for an estimate.

i used to install those decks when they were 'new'.  i'm 'old school'. Alpine 7802 owners manual - Last Post -- posted image.

what are you looking for?  how features work on the deck?

alot of the features on your deck is found on the current alpine products.

i've owned alot of alpine products and think their cd players are the best!! Alpine 7802 owners manual - Last Post -- posted image.

the one i have plays mp3's and the one my friend just bought is just incredible!

          Thanks for the info guys. I bought it at a yard sale  for 15.00 bucks and thought I'd use it in my old pick up truck. Works fine just no display and all the writing on the faceplate has rubbed off  near the control buttons. Now I have a feel what the blind have to go through each day !!!! Have to play by feel I guess, thanks again, have a nice day !!!!
