how do i hook up the trunk release to a second channel on a carbine car alarm

Do you have an electronic trunk release in the caravan?...in other words, is it just a button you can push to open the trunk? If so, they you should be able to hook it up to the second channel (although you may need a relay)....I'd have to see the manual for the car alarm. What model number is it?

If you don't have a button, and instead you have a lever in the caravan, then you'll have to hook up a solenoid in the trunk, along with a relay. Then you can hook it up to the alarm.
