All -

I am new to this forum (been lurking and reading).  I have installed a lot of car audio adn video but have no alarm experience.  My friend and I cannot figure out how to get the door locks wired properly on a 1997 Nissan Maxima with Factory Alarm.  We wound up burning out a relay on the driver's side panel.

I have checked the diagrams here for door locks and tried several combinations from the installation manual but we are having no luck.  I also checkd a Maxima enthusiasts web site and could not find a diagram or info to make this happen.

We have the remote start working properly, shock sensor, temp sensor etc.

Can someone please provide me with the info I need to complete this?

Thanks in advance!

Dave

Talked to two installers  - there is no need for a relay.  Direct connection from the alarm to the door using the two wires.  We were overcomplicating the install. Thanks for the reply.

BTW, this site is awesome, so much useful info.
