I'm confused on this diagram. according to techsoft, there is no 2nd ign, and the starter is RED / grey. Also, what bypass you recommend for this car? 555u? or is there one specifically for it?

thanks

All my information is only for reference, if there is any doubt, please use your head and use a DMM and make sure you double check all connections. Never 100 % believe what anyone here says unless you have checked with your own vehicle and have tested the actual wire. I too have the color code for the starter as being a RED / GREY, but my other two sources tell me that it is a RED / BLUE ??

You are absolutely right, Jeff, however sometimes newer installers (like we all once were) will chase after a phantom wire and spend all day trying to look for it.  I was not contradicting you, simply trying to determine the most accurate info (I'm about to do one of these for my g/f) PS: Accordind to DEI you could also use a 555b on this guy.
