Remote Start Help...

I'v got a alarm whit remote start, but to make it work it needs to be connected to the tachometer, i have now conected the alarm to that,, but the larm whants 1-6V when the car is runing, but my car onley have about 0.6-0.8V then, what can i do to make my remote start work?  help me please....

Use an injector wire instead

My car is a Mazda Rx-7 T2 -89....

Injector kabel? where can i find that?

When you're measuring the point where you tapped for the tach, make sure your meter is on the "AC Volts" setting. Most voltmeters can't measure anything over a few Hz when on the "DC Volts" setting; instead they give you the DC component of whatever you're measuring, which might be what you're seeing.

no, that is not what i'm geting.. the larm gets onely 0.6-0.8V to, when i push the gas, the volt get's up to about 1-6V and the larm gets it, but when i release the gas the volt is back at 0.6-0.8V

sounds like the correct wire to me, hook it up and try to learn the tach signal

yeah, it's the correct wire, but the larm need a signal whit 1-6V to be abel to learn the tach signal...

When i try to learn the tach signal now, the larm should be flashing the diod when it feels the signal,

but it don't, it's not happining anything,  (but how long time can it take for the larm to start feel the signal?)
