I have to agree with wvsquirrel. Im running 2 15inch RF punch Hx2s. The RFL by MTX is pretty good too. i dont know how much that is over 400$ though.

Lots of good affordable ones out there but around a hundred bucks. Diamond Audio CM3's, Infinity Reference or Kappas, MTX 6000, Kicker Comp VR's, RF Puch HE's. I go by my ears so these are just ones i have personally heard.

i've got a set of infinity reference and kappa's (all 4 are 10").  really accurate in the sealed box.  the kappa's sound better though.  but the reference are only like $80 a pop now.

I agree with purerf. I have a pair or 12" punch hx2's with a MA Audio 5011x wired to 1ohm. I pound the crap out of them in a daily driver and they haven't complained one bit. I am stepping up to the diamond audio tdx 15's in my truck. You can get them for $399.99 with no shipping charge from Onlinecarstereo.com. I only paid $250 total for both of my hx2's.
