are you sure you have the correct wire?  where did you find the wire?  go behind the radio

and yes, the car can start with that wire cut, but that is not a good thing.

  • remove the remote start completely
  • reconnect the yellow wire
  • repair any other connections
  • put the key in the ignition and turn to the on position.. do not start
  • disconnect the negative on the battery and wait 10 minutes

if this doesnt work

  • leave the key in the ignition in the on position.. do not start
  • do not disconnect the battery and wait 10 minutes

if neither do the trick, you are going to the dealer...

or, remove the bulb that shows security.. LOL

What's happening is really wierd. The last time I was messing with it, it would start remotely and with the key and the PK2 system in it original state. It worked fine like that for a couple weeks, now it won't remote start anymore. I ordered a PLdata bypass module that I'm expecting will cure all of my problems.
