im new in here. can anyone give me some links on how to install car stereos for free? tnx a lot. i just want to do it by myself.

  What exactly is it that you want to know?cause there is a lot involved to car audio installs.

Yea if you're looking for information regarding a particular vehicle then let us know what it is and maybe we can get you more specific info.  However if you're looking for just general information about car stereo installation then I'd highly recommend you check out Crutchfield's Info Center.  It is a great starting point and you can learn a whole lot just by spending a lil bit of time reading some of the articles.

how bout basic instructions. Coz my uncle bought a an alpine stereo w/o speakers. And so i bought a boschmann. how could i replace the previous installed ca stereo by this new one? i've already pulled out the old one. can u help me how to install the new one? tnx.

  well without getting into specifics i would recommend reading the manual that came with your Alpine HU.I know that they can be a bit overbearing at times but they do actually provide some valuable information in relation to wiring you particular HU as well as some general info on the specifics of operating it. Give that a go as well as lookin at the site as suggested by "esmith69". If you are still unsure just repost us and well try to help.
