Alright, well I got my hands on 320 bucks and I'm looking to buy a new head unit.  I know I can get a pretty good head unit for less but I'm looking to have a cool looking top of the line cd player that will last me.

The basic features I need are a output for front/rear/sub speakers.  And I want to able to change bass/treble and what not.

Now I've been looking at the Pioneer DEH-P850MP, I'll be honest, the first thing thyat attracted me to this cd/mp3 player was it's nice motorized flap down face and graphics that play.  I really don't need all the features it has but it looks nice. I can get it on ebay for about 310, here's an example (this one is for 350) http:///.com/dll?ViewItem&item=3039916064&category=39752

What would you guys suggest for my price range?

I have that 850mp and it is freakin awesome.  I would suggest you buy it.  It has so many easy to use functions that are necessary for great sound.  ALso the difference it made from my unit before as far as sound quality just blew me away!!

I've been told by many people that eclipse is the best and you could probably get a decent one for that price

I believe that once you have an Eclipse you can never go back, they have a very distinct clean dynamic, powerful sound to them. But I have the DEH-P850MP in one of my cars and have no complaints.
