I found mine for as low as $143 and $76 per pair on Ike Sound. But I ended up paying about twice that since I still don't trust eBay stores, and I got the "true" Infinity factory warranty.
I'll be using (2) Kenwood KAC-649S 4-channel amps to push them, 80 x 2 @ 4ohms mono bridged based on a 14.4v electrical system. That should give me about 70 x 2 @ 4ohms mono bridged on a 12v electrical system.
New system will be:
(1) Alpine CDA-7995 headunit
(2) 5.25" Infinity Kappa 50.5cs's
(2) 5x7" Infinity Kappa 572.5cf's
(2) Kenwood KAC-649S amps running the Infinity's
(2) Rockford Fosgate RFD2112 Punch HX2's
(1) Rockford Fosgate Power 1000bd amp running the HX2's
I'll build my custom enclosure out of 3/4" MDF later next week. For now it will look thrown together (old amp rack, prefab enclosure, and an Optima gel-cell battery strapped between them) until I can get it built.
OMFG! If this doesn't keep me happy for a while I'm gonna go NUTS!
