I would give the Titanium about 800 watts rms. if you only have 600 or so I would go for the Aluminum. But as far as upgrading the Alternator, beside the fact that it is a little on the pricey side. It is a simple upgrade and will not harm your cars electrical system.

im aware of that but my parents are all up tight about just getting the system so the alternator pisses them off. So i guess ill just got with an aluminum. What would be the best amp range to run one aluminum? If i were to get one 15 aluminum would that pound at about 650 (with the SX650.1)? Or would it blow from over powering, because i could run a lower watt amp but i know i wont have a constant 14 volts going to it and thats what the SX is tested at.so my thoughts were the SX and the 15 aluminum would work great together with a 1 farad. any suggestions?
thanks
