1994 Suburban vs 530t

I am trying to install the dei 530t into my 1994 Suburban... I have been trying for hours and i am stumped... I can't get the wiring down... can someone please help me???

What do you mean "I cant get the wiring down"? Do you have the wire diagram for the 94 Suburban? If not then you should get one for reference. Test eveything though. The wire diagram will only allow you to compare the install manual to the vehicle. Figure out which wire from the 530t needs to be connected to which wire on the vehicle then go locate the wire on the truck and test it with a DMM. If it tests correctly then solder the son of a bitch, tape it 'til it turns blue in the face and move on. Dont let that car get the better of you, slap it around and show it who's the boss. Post any further questions you have, and be sure to describe the problematic situation with as much detail as possible. Good luckJ Rilla

I thought I had it connected correctly... when I press the switch... I get a clicking sound from the 530t, but no movement.

how about this can someone give me a window diagram for a 1994 suburban??

I tried installing the 530t's on my brothers old 94 suburban, don't remember the wiring colors anymore, but it fried the 530t's. I called DEI and they told me was due to the car. The motors or something draw too much current, not sure. It was a long time ago but I know that I couldn't get it to work. Did the same thing you are saying. Hope you have better luck than I did.

ok... I got it installed on one of my doors... the switch works fine... (one touch up and one touch down) When I connected it to my car alarm... (k-95 classic) the windows vent in the up direction and not the down direction...

I did remote windows on a 95 suburban. But I didnt use a 530t. I just used relays. I wired them up like negative reversal doorlocks. I ran into only one problem. The windows do take too much current. It kept blowing 30 amp fuses when i tried to roll them up (although they went down fine.) So I wired up a 30 amp self resetting circuit breaker. That seems to work fine. Its been hooked up for almost 3 years now with no problems. But I must say this.... If I could go back, I'd probably use a 530t. Since doing the suburbsn, I've installed the 530t on 3 other vehicles and I think it was MUCH easier than using relays(but much more expensive too).
