Are shock sensors compatible with other brands or do I have to purchase the same specific brand/model for my alarm?  I may have a dead compustar dual stage shock sensor so I was just wondering if i could pick up any ole dual stage sensor.

I read your other post. If you really think it's dead pull it out and connect it on to the battery in the engine compartment. Test the wires to see if they are pulsing negative when the unit it shocked. Actually you can do this while it's in the truck. if it lights up when the alarm is disarmed then it is still outputing it's just that the alarm is ignoring the signal.
