I recently put window modules(up and down) in my 95 Monte Carlo and I was reading the addendum in the instruction manual and it said something about rest at neutral. I did like they said and tested the switch and it gave out the 12 volts and according to this piece of paper stuck in the box, 12 volts at the switch means that I have rest at neutral. My local store did not have enough relays at the time so I decided to hook it up anyway to the window motor that needs to be replaced and to my surprise it worked without the extra relays, so I hooked up the other window and they work. I don't know if this is going to mess up any thing in the long run or did i just miss read the instructions and what does rest at neutral mean anyways?

I would prefer not to rewire the thing all over again but if it is absolutely necessary I will, and if I do could you please tell me how I need to wire the relays.

The window modules are the Bulldog security CL200. I one of them wired to EXT2 and the other on EXT3 on an Alpine SEC-150R

Thank You in Advance

Brian Hawkins

There are different types of windows. For your chevy, it is a rest at ground type.

You can also give Bulldog tech support a call...they're usually pretty good. 800-878-8007. Just as a double check.
