i have been able to get everything else working except the remote function of the 530t. against the instructions given, i connected the RED / white aux input wire to the aux output of the remote start system. i have a feeling I need a relay to do this but i honestly dont know how to go about this without burning up the electrical system. Here is how i have it figured out though: please tell me if i'm right or wrong or supply more info on what to do.

I have a spdt relay right now.

RED / white from 530t to position 30(light gauge wire)

RED / white from remote start brain(150HF) to position 85(heavy gauge wire)

12v constant to position 86 (going to use short piece-about 3-4inches- of 14ga wire to a source...is this okay?)

i dont know what to put on the other points. Please let me knowas i want to get it all finished up this afternoon. Thanks

As stated in this other post, no...you don't need a relay if you're installing one 530t unit. You just hook it up to the alarm's AUX wire. Actually, if you're using the RED / white wire, I think that's the one with the 1.5 second delay. Try holding the button on the remote for 1.5 seconds.
