I own a 1999 Plymouth Neon manual transmission.  I'd like to add a cruise control.  Do I purchase and after market cruise or do I better buy a factory one? The factory control is mounted in the steering, controlling it with you thumbs, wich I really appreciate.  Looks great.  In both cases,  will I be able to install it myself?  I read that it takes no more than 1 hour to install a cruise control, so if I give me a whole day,  will I get it working easily?  I am afraid that when I'll read: use the VSS or something wire, I wouldn't be able to locate it and finish by sending it to the garage to make them do it.  How detailed are the instructions in general?

Thank you.

Fred.
