A couple things...Where are you picking up the passlock wires? Also the black wire off of the 555L should go to the thin black wire up at the cylinder running with the yellow passlock wire..Do you have it connected to that wire? Also make sure you have the wires right as far as which one goes to the keyside of the cut wire and which one goes to the other side. Double check all your other connections on the 555L..make sure it's getting power/ignition/and a (-) out on the blue/black wire. Violet and BLACK/ white you don't need. Your using the yellow and BLACK / YELLOW wires to interupt the yellow passlock wire correct? I know sounds basic, but a lot of times it turns out to be the dumb stuff that's right in front of your face..

Yep, everything is going to the right places and held in place with solder then taped then has a ziptie over top of that to make sure it really stays put. I've heard from some people that there's a difference between the 4 cylinder and the V6 grand am's, something 'bout the computer is different between the cars, is that true?

We decided to try the PLXR bypass module from bypass kits.com and it's still doing the same exact thing. Could one of the ignition wires not be energizing like it should and thats causing it to not want to start correctly? Any help now will be really nice and helpful.
