I would like to find a way to have my parking lights flash faster like on some newer cars. right now each flash is about a sec. long . I like the lights to flash a short burst . I've looked in to some products, but they i'm not sure if they would work. They say they are for turn signals, but I just want them to flash fast with the alarm only.  i'm not even sure what the thing is called. thanks!

You cannot change the flash rate in the alarm module, unless you modify the unit, and then that would assume you know which resistor, capacitor, etc needs to be changed.
A more reasonable method would be to locate, and install a lower resistance bulb(s).
If you are not aware as to the why? Simply try this out yourself at home. Simply remove one bulb, from the vehicle and then turn on the blinkers.
You will note that the blinker is now, fashing alot faster. This is because the resistance is lower than before.
In closing, if you are able to find a single filliment bulb, and not a dual filliment bulb, this will address your current need.
