I am looking to remove a remote start system from a 1998 Dodge Durango and install it on a 2000 Buick Lesabre.
What additional parts will I need to install this and is there anything that I will need to watch out for?

The Buick has Passkey III that requires a bypass module for remote start. You will need additional relays for the 2 nd IGN, 2 nd ACC & the (-) parking lights for the LeSabre.

Judging from pictures I've seen, I believe the system is a Prestige APS55. Are there any wiring diagrams or installation instructions online for this system?

Check out www.audiovox.com and look into their manuals page.

Thnaks Jeff.
I had tried that last night, but their site was down. It is back up now though. Wasn't sure if that was the right site to go to.

Seem to be having some problems here. I have never installed an Audiovox RS before, I am not growing very fond of it.
The previous installer did not install the program switch, hood switch or anything else beyond plug and play wiring. So, now I am left without those parts.
I have everything plugged in, Door Locks work flawlessly, but when I try to Remote Start it everything powers up and then I get the message on the Information Center "Service Stability System" and it shuts down. It will start will the key in the "Acc" position and once it is started I can remove the key and it will stay running.
I have the Passlock III Bypass installed.
Here is my wiring:
RS - Car
Red - Orange (Constant +)
RED / Whi - Orange (Constant +)
Blue - Pink (IGN)
Yellow - Violet (Starter)
Green - White (IGN 2)
Violet - Brown (ACCY)
Black - Ground
Grey - N/C
GRY/BLK - N/C
Brown - N/C
BRN/BLK - White (Brake)
White - BRN/WHI (Pk Lights)
White - Ground
Lt Blue - Orange (IGN 3 - Through Relay)
Dk Green - White at Coil (Tach)
Yel/Blk - Brown of Bypass
Bypass:
Brown - Yel/Blk of RS
Orange - Orange (Constant +)
Black - Ground
Purple - Purple (Data)
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I was supposed to have this done yesterday, I gave up at 4AM.

Nevermind the previous post, I got it done.
The Purple Accessory wire from the RS was not putting out any power whatsoever, so I bypassed that wire to an IGN wire and everything works!

Did you use a relay to bypass the wire ? Just curious on the load on that PURPLE wire.
