Can anyone tell me where to conect the tach wire for a 97 Ford Aspire. I have a Prestige platnum Model APS 685 R/S I am trying to hook up and every time I put it in diagnostic mode it tells low or no tach. But when I do the steps for the tach it tells me it has the tach.  Could I have conected the tach wire to the wrong spot.

ALL help is great

You should be looking for a white wire at the distributor or the diagnostic plug next to the battery
Make sure that when you test the wire it ranges with rpm increase.

Go straight to the injector if the WHITE wire does not work. Relearn the tach signal and make sure that the car is at it's lowest idle RPM before attempting to learn the tach signal. Use any wire that is uncommon in color between the injectors.
