i find it so much esier to use a universal transponder and  living the key in the transponder unit.just make sure you make the ring stable around the key ring, and you will need to use a relay to turn the bypass on ,because the ground coming from the rs is not enough.

By leaving a key in the universal transponder wont that cause problems when you use the other key to take over the system. The ignition will see 2 different codes. I have read on this forum about codes "freezing" and other problems. It was suggested that the correct way to do this is to use a keyless transponder. This is my girlfriends truck and I don't want her stranded because keys got deprogrammed or it sees two different codes. Any suggestions would be great!!
I must give credit to every person that has helped me in my journey!! You all are very intelligent people. All of this electronic equipment is crazy stuff and you guys know your sh*t. I am a mason and my day consists of stone and concrete. I would love to spend a day in the shop with you guys to see how you do all that custom work with tv's in the visor and headrests. That is just mind blowing! Never stop doing what you do!! It is very impressive.

Not is you use the keysense option on the module ( TBKII or TBKIII ) where the module has a wire that is hooked up to the key sense wire and will auto shut off when it detects the other key in the cylinder.
