Yeah just test the wires after the actuators are installed. Which ever wire is positive on the battery when it locks is going to be the wire that goes to the lock relay and the same goes for unlock.

cool, appreciate your help.  so to sum it up...both wires on the actuator rest at ground, and one of them gets pulsed +12v to lock or unlock and i can figure out which one by touching it to the battery?

Once you install the actuator, use your battery to find out which wire will make the door lock, the wire that is on positive side of the battery when you touch it will be the lock wire, and the same for the unlock. Sometimes the wires will reverse depending on how you install the actuator.
