I just installed an Audiovox remote start/ keyless entry on my 2000 jeep cherokee. The lock/unlock function works via remote but the reciever will not even recognize the "remote start" command via remote. Any suggestions? Thanks

I broke the hood pin switch during install, but did connect to the positive on the underhood light. The tach wont program. The system acts like the control switch is off in both positions. ( It doesn't do anything at all when given the remote start command via remote.) Thanks for all the input so far.

I installed an audiovox remote start on a 2000 jeep cherokee and now something is draining the battery.  Everything was working but the morning after the install the battery was dead and it wont hold a charge. Any ideas about what could cause this? Thanks

Did you install an anti-grind relay?
How did you interface the doorlocks? databus interface module or relays?
What bypass module did you use if you have a gray key?
Did you power two devices using a single (-) out when running wire? You should always diode isolate the devices when doing so.
