Hello all!  Please bare with me on this, as it will be my first alarm install (although I have done quite a few stereo installs, so I do have some basic wiring/ electrical knowledge).  I've searched the forums and found a few answers, but still have some questions left...  The car has manual transmission and I do not wish to use the Remote Start feature, but still have the start disable.  Which wire(s) do I not connect into the car's wiring for the remote start?  Or do I just leave the #H1 harness off?  I would also like to add an aftermarket perimeter/ microwave sensor like Commando's or DEI's, which wire would that tap into (or is it not possible)?  TIA!

Cut the WHITE/ black wire at the ignition switch and wire in the relay like this. Some systems still require you to have the main harness hooked up due to the IGN and the main battery is on that harness. If you want to add perimeter to the system, take the sensor's output wire ( usually BLUE and GREEN ) and attach them to the alarm systems (-) trigger input wires ( door, or hood or trunk ).

Thanks for the info...

Looking over the install manual, the wires that seem to relate to the remote start are:

All of H1 and WHITE/ Black, WHITE/ Violet, WHITE/ Green, WHITE/ Red on H6 - Can I leave those disconnected?

Or should I connect everything and use a toggle switch connected to the BLACK/ White?  Also since it's a manual, the Starter Interlock switch should prevent it from accidentally starting as well, right?  If I can go without wiring the remote start that would be better.

TIA!

Can you please associate the wire colors to what they are suppose to be ? eg. WHITE/ Black --- Starter . Most of the time if you decide not to use the remote start , then just don't hook up the starter wire on the RS to the starter wire on the car. If you still want to use the starter disable, then cut the starter wire in half on the car and wire up the relay like the link had shown you.

Sorry... Should of been a little more detailed.  Anyways, these hookups look all to be part of the remote startup feature.

On H1:

Violet - Starter output
Red - 12V +
Red - 12V +
Yellow - Ign 1
Pink- Ign 2
Brown - ACC/Heater

On H6:

WHITE/ Black - (-) Neg. Safety Shut Down Input for Hood Pin
BLACK/ White - (-) Neg. Safety Switch Input & Remote Start Toggle Switch Input
WHITE/ Violet - (+) Pos. Safety Shut Down Input for Brake switch
Blue -
WHITE/ Green -  (-) Diesel Wait-to-Start Input
Green -
Violet -
WHITE/ Red - Tach Signal Input

You need to hook up the 2 reds, and yellow at least to get an alarm. IT needs +12V and ign to sense when the car is running so the remote won't respond when running and you can reset any codes if the veichle's been tampered with. You can cut off pink and brown. You can cut off violet too.

Blue is probably a hood pin trigger, you can use it if you want. Green and purple are door trigger + and -.  Use the green wire and hook it to your WHITE/ red wire in the car. Its located in the driver's kick panel in a white 2 pin plug. You can cut off the violet wire. No need for it.

You can cut off the other one's that you labeled. They're only for rs systems. To wire in your starter kill do this. Cut your starter wire in 1/2. (WHITE/ black). Then put the car's side of the starter wire to pin 30 of the relay. Put the other side from the key to pin 87a. Then hook pin 86 to IGN. which should be RED / black. and finally, hook 85 to Ground when armed output (-). It's probably orange in color. That will give you your starter kill.
