I have a 03 malibu that is getting a pro-start 3300 installed.  The problem is that (according to them) that the by pass that I gave them for the passlock screwed up the car and put it into theft mode.  Now the car will not start!  They said that the pcm may have to be re-programmed to get the car out of theft mode.  Any advice that any of you guys can give me that I can pass along to get the car out of theft mode.  Because if they have to get this pcm re-programed then it may be a few days until I get my ride back.  Thanks

It was the bypass that commandocaralarms.com was selling (I can look it up), as for the wires, I am not the one hooking it up, I am just trying to help these guys out.

Well its not the bypass's failt, they were the ones who screwed it up, they should fix it, or pay for it. This is why I dont think it is a good idea to buy something and have someone else install it.

Well expressed J Rilla. I agree, but the problem is still there. Until the dealership can scan the car and see what's going on with it, it will be a waiting game.
