Hello, You have a 1.5 din dash. I tried installing a in-dash motorized screen(1 din) and the in-dash dvd player(1 din) into a 00' ranger and it does not fit... It is a 1.5 din. Hope this helps...

Your dash is a combination of both. It is a little more thatn 1.5 din and a little under 2 din. This is why most companies build a slightly oversize pocket to go either above or below a new headunit, like the scosche fd1300 ( www.scosche.com). You are correct that you do not need to remove the factory trim bezel. If you want both of your units to go into the dash, well it's custom time, a good deal of it. If you want to tackle this project, awesome, if not, find a new home for the processor.
Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.
