this is my second install of a remote starter alarm.  my brother initially got his alarm done (91 integra)  professionally but they couldnt do the RS because its illegal on a standard.  he had his friend try and wire the remote start but somehow he couldnt do it and just quit.  a couple weeks later i get the 791xv and i try my first install with tips i have picked up from this site.  it was successful except a few minor GWAO probs that i fixed but ill get into that later.  So i try to do his RS.  it works out perfectly except My problem with the APS 996 RS is that it wont RS when the car is armed.  When it is disarmed it will RS fine.  i double checked all the heavy guaged wiring and its where it should be.  i think it has something to do with the starter kill relay but im not sure because the starter kill relay i think also controls the GWAO.  please help.   thanks

check the starter wire coming from aps996. it should be on the other side of the starter kill relay(motor side).

profuse is on the right track... if you hook up the start to the cold side of the kill it will not start
