If you are heading towards 2 he2 subs that require 400 rms each, the amplifier you are looking at will work properly, be it underpowered. So do it right the first time and buy yourself the 801s which will match your subs bang on for the rms power rating. The worst thing in the world you can do to your subs in underpower them. I would also recommend tht you look at the rms power rating of amps and subs and start to talk in that "lingo" as well, it creates much less confusion to everyone. RMS is the true power rating of amps and speakers under continuous operation, you have been quoting peak power ratings which is not a good representation of real world continuous operation. Just a thought.
Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.
