I would suggest that you go with 1.25 cu/ft and build the enclosure out of 1 inch mdf. I would also double up on the baffle (2 inches) so the sub doesn’t pull itself out of the box and use       1-3/4 screws to mount the sub.

Forbidden in your opinion what is the optimal volume for Titanium’s? My personal preference for SQ/SPL is 1.25 cu/ft.

Would want to know a little more about the car's transfer function before I chose the final box. I would probably build two or 3 boxes and do some serious listening before nailing one down. My preference for both the aluminum and titanium drivers is 1.1cu.ft net volume for the 12" drivers, so pretty close to the volume you have recommended, which I assemed to be gross volume.

I have built many test enclosures for both the Aluminums and Titanium’s. I have tested them in many different vehicles and too have found that 1.25 (gross volume) seems to be the magic number.for best overall sound.

Just for reference, I have that Eclipse sub, and its in a 3/4" MDF 1.0 cf enclosure.....I am powering it with a JBL BP600.1 and it sounds great. I did not build the box myself, so i didnt double up the baffle, but thats a real good idea.  Anyway the box gives some real tight bass and killer SQ, but make no mistake this is a seriously loud sub.  Since I have never gone bigger than 1.0 cf, I cant reccomend anything else, but listen to Bberman1 hes the resident Eclipse man in this forum.

Home stores such as Home Depot etc do not carry it. You need to go to a "real" lumber yard.
